Former Minister RB Subba to join SKM soon

Former Minister of the SDF Government, RB Subba, announced today that he will soon be joining the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha along with his supporters.

This move was made amply clear when Mr Subba, accompanied by 115 supporters, attended a meeting chaired by Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party president, Chief Minister PS Tamang, here at Samman Bhawan on Sunday.

In his address, Mr Subba heaped praise in Mr Tamang’s leadership and the SKM Government’s performance over the past three years, an SKM press release informs.

The release adds that in his address, Mr Subbaalso expressed his desire to join the SKM impressed with the achievements of the SKM government, the Chief Minister’s calm handling of issues and the decency with which he engaged with the people.

The release also quotes him as saying that he has been following SKM’s governance of Sikkim and was supportive of its plans and vision for the State and will work hard to return SKM to government in 2024.

The release adds that the SKM president received Mr Subba warmly and welcomed his decision to join SKM in the interest of the people of Sikkim. The programme was also addressed by SKM spokesperson and Political Secretary to the CM, Jacob Khaling.
