Red Panda FC outplay SAI-Namchi in Namchi Super League opener

Namchi Super League 2022 got underway at Bhaichung Stadium today with Red Panda FC taking on SAI-Namchi in the opener. Red Panda emerged victorious 5-1.

Twelve teams are competing in the tournament divided into two pools with finals scheduled for 26 July, president, Namchi Football Association, BasantYonzone, informs.

The twelve teams are: Red Panda FC, SAI Namchi, Chisopani FC, Kamrang FC, Jail Police and Melli FC in Pole A and Childhood FC, Ravangla FC, Jorethang FC, Namthang FC, Siniolchu FC and Friends Club FC in Pole B.

The first and second semifinal matchesare scheduled between the winner of Pole A and Pole B runnerupand winner of Pole B and runners up of Pole A.

Vice Chairperson, Namchi Municipal Council, SabitriTamang, was present as chief guest today.
