Sikkim begins Senior Women's National Football Championship campaign on strong note

Sikkim made a promising start at the on-going Hero Senior Women's National Football Championship today, downing Jammu & Kashmir 5-0.
Playing their first match of the tournament at the EMS Corporation Stadium at Kozhikode, Kerala, Suju Hangma Limboo contributed a hat-trick, while Karishma Rai and Nim Riki Sherpa scored one goal each.
Sikkim Football Association details that the first half ended with Sikkim 3-0 ahead and scored two more goals in the second half. Suju Hangma Limboo has been adjudged the Player of the Match.
Sikkim is placed in group-Ewith Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh and Maharashtra. The state team has Puspa Gurung as the coach, AnuradhanChettri as manager and Sonam Choden Bhutia a Physiotherapist.
Sikkim will next take on Arunachal Pradesh on 01 December and play its last match against Maharashtra on 03 December
