SUMMIT REPORT, Soreng 20 Jan: The final coordination meeting of the Sonam Lochhar Celebration Committee for the event scheduled to be held at Jautar Playground on 27 Jan, was chaired by Soreng MLA, Aditya Golay, here today. The meeting was also attended by the DC, SP, SDM, state and district executive members of Sikkim Tamang Association.
The meeting discussed the logistics and special events for the day and also finalized that Raju Lama, Mongolian Heart, and ten other artists will be performing on the day and the afternoon attractions will include a dance competition and inter-district damfuray competition.
The organisers are expecting to host around 700 VIPs on the day, and in preparation, connecting roads to Soreng bazar are being repaired.
