The newly constructed home of Kali Maya Chettri, built under the SGAY scheme, at Upper Rangang under Rangang-Yangang constituency was inaugurated by the Deputy Speaker Raj Kumari Thapa, who is also the area MLA, on Monday.
A press release informs that the successful completion and inauguration of Ms Chettri’s house under the SGAY scheme marks a significant milestone in providing housing facilities to those in need.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang for his visionary leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people. His initiative, the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana has brought hope and shelter to many underprivileged families, and we appreciate his efforts in making this scheme a success,” the release states.
The inauguration function was also attended by SDM Yangang, BDO Yangang along with CEC vice president RK Basnet and CLC president Tengayla Namka Bhutia and president [Panchayat Cell] CL Gurung of SKM party, Zilla Panchayats, Panchayats, former nari convenor Denkila Bhutia, officials from various departments and SKM party workers.
