Mangan, February 5 : The Women and Child Development Department carried out the annual verification for various schemes under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) at the Mangshila-Tibuk GVK.
The event began with a briefing by Social Welfare Inspector Mr. Roshan Limboo, who outlined the programme’s objectives to the residents of Mangshila Tibuk GPU. He also welcomed local Panchayat members and his colleagues, Inspectors Miss Arine Lepcha and Miss Dawa Zangmu Bhutia.
Activities included assisting existing NSAP beneficiaries with their Life certificate applications, addressing queries about NSAP schemes, enrolling new beneficiaries, and updating beneficiary ages.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks from the Panchayat President of Mangshila Tibuk GPU, who expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by the W&CDD Department and its Social Welfare Inspector to support senior citizens and the community.
