Kanchenjunga Fight Night, an event approved by Global Authority for Mixed Martial Arts (GAMA), returns with its third edition, with 18 fighters squaring off on Saturday. Face-off for the Fight Night was held at MG Marg today, with the main exhibition fights scheduled for 22 Marchat Samdur Zero Mile, below Mayfair Hotel, Ranipool, starting 3 PM.
Nine matches will be held on Saturday across different weight categories. The main event will see Kaushik Debnath take on Chiten Lepcha, while the co-main event will be Johnny Darlong against Bishal Sahu.
Fighters from India and Nepal are participating, including representatives from Shaw Khaw MMA (Arunachal Pradesh), Hillside MMA (Assam), Rock and Roll MMA (Kathmandu, Nepal), Cross Train MMA (Delhi), and Primal MMA (West Bengal), alongside local fighters from Kanchenjunga MMA.
Sikkim will be represented by 12 fighters.
The event aims to promote mixed martial arts in the region and provide a platform for local fighters to showcase their skills.
