Central Referral Hospital on Sunday announced the introduction of KareXpert, an advanced Hospital Information System (HIS) and mobile app, aimed to ease processes for patients. Patients can book appointments through the app, make payments, and even submit documents online, reducing waiting time. After the tests, patients will receive their lab and radiology reports via SMS on their registered mobile numbers thanks to KareXpert, it is informed.
Sikkim Manipal University Vice Chancellor, Dr Dilip Chandra Agarwal, launched the app at the hospital at a special function yesterday, accompanied by SMU IT Head, Bitopan Sarma Baruah, CEO CRH Subhendu Prakash, Deputy Registrar Gopal Thapa, and Additional Medical Superintendent Dr Samrat Bhandari.
The app is linked to Aadhar cards, making retrieval easy. KareXpert can be downloaded free and will soon be available on both Android and iOS platforms, it is informed.
